Beautiful project of rental houses in the district of Savaneta
On 12th of March, 2019 FCCA inaugurated another beautiful project of rental houses and this time in the district of Savaneta.
This new living community consists of 42 houses for single person or a couple (55 years and older). The size of the houses varies between 36.5 and 50.2 square meters. FCCA took into account that our waiting-list has a large number of seniors (55 years and older), who despite one or more physical limitation want to live independently, and have applied for a rental house. Here at this new living community in Savaneta, FCCA has constructed 6 completely adapted houses for people who need to use a wheelchair, while the rest of the houses are built in such matter, that already the mobility in a wheelchair is possible and future adaptations can easily be made if needed.
To guarantee the security of each tenant, FCCA had also adapted the grounds around the houses to assure save mobility and provided parking places close to all the houses. The houses are brightly colored and built in the form of different units of houses under one roof in a gated community.
Today 36 singles or couples are living in this community and FCCA will soon put the finishing touches to the 6 apartments centrally built at the site.
The total investment for the 36 houses is AFl. 4.205.176, which includes the infrastructure of AFl. 696.892. The construction of the houses and apartments was done by Coburg Construction & Consulting N.V.
In this way FCCA with the cooperation of the Government of Aruba continues to provide suitable and affordable housing for those searching for a home in a safe and well maintained neighborhood.
